The Red Wolf Center
The Red Wolf Coalition recently established its home office in Columbia, Tyrrell County, North Carolina. This location provides a hub from which future growth, outreach and education can stem.

The Red Wolf Coalition, in cooperation with The Conservation Fund, the United States Fish and Wildlife Service and the North Carolina Department of Transportation, continues its diligent research to select the best location in Tyrrell County for the proposed Red Wolf Center. Our resolve is to build a center, in the heart of red wolf country, which will be constructed using green building practices and materials. Hopes are high that the designs will include alternative energy technologies and that the final site selection will be on Palmetto-Peartree Preserve lands. This natural setting will enhance the experience of all visitors to the center and be an eco-tourism destination which reflects Tyrrell County's best.
